The Journal of Mental Health in Rural Schools is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to
advancing research, practice, and policy on mental health in rural educational settings. For the
purposes of this journal, “schools” are defined as K-12 institutions, colleges, and universities,
recognizing that mental health challenges and solutions span all levels of education in rural
communities.
